LIBRE BALIK PROMO of Oceanjet for 2015: Cebu to Bohol and vice versa

Oceanjet launches Libre Balik Promo or “Free Return” Promo as a way to give thanks to all passengers who supports this fast craft shipping company and at the same time, this helps in boosting inter-island tourism of Cebu and Bohol. Entry point to both islands is through their respective airports and seaports. There are no pisofares tickets for Oceanjet but they do have “Libre Balik” special promotions.

This FREE RETURN is available for limited seats only and is for first come, first serve basis.  We suggest that you will buy your Cebu to Tagbilaran Bohol AND Tagbilaran Bohol to Cebu fast craft ticket in advance. You can choose to have an “open” return ticket but must have this validated and use within 6 days or you can also decide on your return date at the time of booking.

Open Return Ticket or Not?

We recommend that you indicate your return departure preferred schedule upon booking so you are sure you will have a slot. If you have an open-ticket, you will need to go to the port at least a couple of hours before your intended departure to have your open ticket validated. Now, if all the libre balik slots of the departure time that you have selected is already taken, you will be bumped-off to the next trip with available slot for libre balik promo (or alternative is you pay for ticket upgrade). Again, seat availability is limited so this is a risk that you will take with open-tickets.

Libre Balik Mechanics

Libre Balik promo is applicable only to the open-air accommodation and you must book 1 to 8 days in advance prior to your departure. Instead of paying round trip “Cebu – Bohol – Cebu”  or “Bohol – Cebu – Bohol” ticket at a total of Php 1,600 (USD 38), you will only pay Php 800 (USD 19) . The return ticket is FREE and Complimentary but you must return within 6 days of your departure date. If you stay in Cebu or Bohol for more than 6 days and did not make the return trip on time, your complimentary return ticket is forfeited.

Note that the Libre Balik promo ticket is Non-reroutable and Non-transferable. The complimentary return ticket is non-refundable.

**Senior citizens, students, minor, PWD discounts is no longer applicable if these passengers will avail of the Libre Balik Promo 2015 / 2016 of Oceanjet. This is because this promo gives them a bigger discount than the government mandated discount for these special groups.

Other Oceanjet routes with Libreng Balik promo are Cebu-Ormoc, Ormoc-Cebu, Bacolod-Iloilo and Ilo-ilo-Bacolod. This promo might be extended to 2016. Kindly watch out for new promo announcements of Oceanjet.
