The government has put lots of places in the Philippines under a community quarantine. Thus, sea trips are affected like 2Go Travel to and from Manila, to and from Batangas, to and from Cebu, to and from Zamboanga, etc. And thus, there are a lot of affected passengers right now. Good news is that if your trip is affected, you may request for refund or rebooking of ticket in 2Go Travel.

What if my trip was cancelled by 2Go due to the sea travel ban imposed by the government during this community quarantine time, what will happen to the boat ticket I bought?
The advisory of 2Go Travel on this case is that affected passengers may REBOOK or REVALIDATE the ticket within 12 months from date of purchase. However, the ticket for cancelled trips may not be rebooked for travel dates December 16, 2020 to January 15, 2020 – we think this is because Christmas to New Year period is HIGH PEAK SEASON for this shipping company.
Do I have to pay a rebooking fee is my trip was cancelled? May bayad ba ang pag rebook or revalidate ng ticket ko sa 2Go Travel?
2Go will waive the surcharges like rebooking fee as well as fare difference as long as passenger will rebook/revalidate to the same accommodation.
Example 1: If an affected passenger will rebook his Tourist Class April 2020 ticket to February 2021 for the same Tourist Class accommodation – NO FEE.
Example 2: If an affected passenger will rebook his Super Value Class March 2020 ticket to November 2020 sailing date but this time for Cabin accommodation – the passenger will not pay rebooking fee but he/she will pay the fare difference between Super Value Class and Cabin Class.
A passenger booked the ticket via retail outlet, 2Go store, or travel agent – when can these passengers rebook their ticket and where they should go?
Because there is an existing policy of social distancing, all affected passengers are advised to WAIT for the lifting of the community quarantine. Once the quarantine is lifted and things are back to normal, the affected passenger may then go to the corporate ticketing outlets in malls and port areas or authorized agents to start processing their ticket rebooking or revalidation.

2GO REFUND PROCESS
A passenger booked the ticket via ONLINE in 2Go website and paid using debit or credit card, and now wants to request for REFUND, what is the process?
For those boat passengers who paid online and who wants to refund the tickets – you may email the customer service of 2Go Travel so they can start processing your refund. Send the request using the same email you used in booking online. The email address of 2Go for refunding of tickets bought from their website is email@example.com
Take note that processing is 30 to 60 days before you will see the refunded amount in your bank debit card or credit card.
In the email subject line, our team suggest you used “Ticket Refund Paid Online – passenger*surname”.
Example: Ticket Refund Paid Online – Salvador
In your message request for refund and then state the full name of the passenger(s), original travel dates and destination that was cancelled, plus mobile number.

How to request for refund for tickets bought and paid in a 2Go store, corporate ticketing outlet, or authorized agents?
Refund request for tickets bought in an outlet or via travel agent can be done by going to the same outlet/agent where you bought the ticket. Pumunta kung saan mo binili ang ticket para mag file ng refund request. Or you may also go to a 2Go corporate ticket outlet or in the port ticketing office for refund.
But 2Go appeals to affected passengers to only go to the outlet for refund once the community quarantine is lifted and to follow social distancing.
