How to go to Puerto Galera from Manila?
In case you don’t know yet, there is an alternative and a more convenient way of going from Manila to Puerto Galera and that is the SI-KAT Bus and Ferry Service. Hop on their bus, transfer to their ferry, and be on your way to the White Sand Beach strip of Galera!
The ticket rate of Si-Kat covers the boat ride fee AND ferry ride fee. Ticket prices as of 2016 are listed further below. You will get on board the SI-KAT bus in their terminal at City State Tower in Mabini St, Ermita. This bus will bring you all the way to Batangas Pier, where you will then transfer to a waiting ferry or outrigger boat. This boat will take you to Puerto Galera and will make a stop in Sabang Beach and Muelle Pier.
Bus travel time is approximately 2 to 3 hours depending on traffic. While ferry cruising time is approximately 1 and a half hours for those who will disembark in Sabang Beach, and almost 2 hours for those who will disembark in Muelle Pier.

SI-KAT Bus departure time from Muelle Pier to Sabang Beach is at 8:15 AM

You have option to buy the tickets for round trip or one way. For vacationers, securing round trip tickets during the peak summer months may be the best route so you are assured of a seat on the ferry and bus on your return trip. Remember that Puerto Galera is a favorite vacation spots of Manila locals and ferries can get filled-up fast.
