Great news for those who wants to go to Camotes Island, we can now travel a lot faster by sailing with Jomalia Shipping’s fast craft service from Mactan to Camotes and vice versa.
This is an awesome news too for those tourists and locals who lands at Mactan Cebu International Airport because you can just take a taxi or yellow multicab, and in just a few minutes you are already at the port beside Cebu Yacht Club.
*You will altogether escape the traffic from Opon to Mandaue City to North Bus Terminal if you sail via Jomalia’s fast craft to Camotes Island.
Superferry Promo Fare will update this post once we know the exact start of this route by this inter-island shipping line. As of today, we are still awaiting announcement from Jomalia for their maiden voyage for this route, but they say it is pretty soon.

JOMALIA FAST CRAFT TERMINAL
The Camotes fast craft terminal in Mactan is located beside Cebu Yacht Club, which is across Marina Mall in Lapu – Lapu City.
The entry road is beside Island Central Mall.
While in Camotes Island, this Jomalia fast craft will dock in Consuelo Port.
*If you are taking a jeepney from Mandaue City, take the multicab with signage “Bag-o”, these jeepneys and multicab will take the Marcelo Fernan Bridge, will pass by Brgy Pusok; you need to get off in Marina Mall and then cross the road.
JOMALIA SHIPPING DAILY SCHEDULE – MACTAN | CAMOTES FAST CRAFT
- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday SCHEDULE
Twice a day trips from Mactan to Camotes at 9 AM and 1 PM.
Jomalia leaves Camotes Consuelo Port going to Mactan daily at 7 AM and 11 AM.
- Friday, Saturday, Sunday SCHEDULE
Mactan Cebu Yatch Club Wharf to Consuelo Camotes – Thrice a day trips at 9 AM, 1 PM, and 5 PM (additional 1 trip for Friday and weekend)
Consuelo Camotes Port to Mactan – 7 AM, 11 AM, and last trip at 3 PM.
Sailing time is approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes.
You can buy your ticket at the Jomalia ticketing outlet inside the port terminal.
JOMALIA RORO Vessels
If you plan to take your car to Camotes Island via Consuelo Port, make your way to Danao City Port. Then process your car or motorcycle documents so you can get your vehicle on board the RORO vessel of Jomalia Shipping Line.
Rolling cargoes must be on the port at least one (1) hour before the schedule departure.

ALTERNATIVE TRANSPORT TO CAMOTES – BUS
Alternative transport if you want to go to Camotes Island from Mactan or Cebu City is via bus or jeep, and then take a ferry. Oceanjet also has a fast craft bound for Camotes.

Members of our Facebook page SFPF has informed us that there are a few buses that goes direct to Camotes; the bus terminal is located beside Cebu North Bus Terminal. The only catch is bus to Camotes Island is rare. Our team will update this post once we get info on the direct Camotes bus fare and travel time, and the specific bus line.
Another alternative transport to Camotes Island is to ride a jeepney bound for Danao City. Make sure to tell the jeepney driver that you will get off in port area. Once in Danao Port, ride a ferry (Jomalia or Super Shuttle Ferry) or pumpboat (RJR or Ave Maria).
But if you want considerably less travel time, sail with Jomalia Shipping fast craft plying the Mactan to Camotes and vice versa route!

You can buy fast craft ticket at the wharf terminal itself, there’s a ticketing booth there. There are coffee shops and restaurants nearby, if you got there early before the next departure and you just want to hang around.
